Solo en temporada alta - Enero, Febrero y Marzo - se llena demasiado para nuestro gusto. Para aficcionados de observación de pájaros La laguna es un paraíso, pero sigue sin desarrollo turístico. En Sudamérica, descubrió países en los que aún es fácil y viable viajar en solitario a caballo, y así lo hizo a lo largo de unos 2000 km. Empezó uniéndose a los Nomads United en Perú, para después elegir viajar sola con un caballo y otro de carga. Tras 2 años trabajando de guía de cabalgatas en Costa Rica, la vida le ha llevado a Uruguay, donde no solo encontró la tierra de sus sueños en la que construyó la casa de sus sueños, sino también conoció y se casó con Santiago, quien hoy es un gran amigo. Altamente inspirada por el trabajo de los maestros Monty Roberts, John Lyons y Pat Parelli, sus días están divididos entre ser anfitriona de sus huéspedes y la doma de sus caballos jóvenes, algo que ella encuentra muy fascinante y gratificante. In South America she found countries where it is still easy and acceptable to travel solely on horses, and so she travelled some 2000 km on horse back. First she joined the Nomads United in Peru, then she chose to travel alone with a horse and a packhorse. After two years as a horse tour guide in Costa Rica life called her to Uruguay, where she found the land of her dreams and, with the great help of Santiago, built her home and farm in the Sierras de Rocha. Highly inspired by the work of horse men Monty Roberts, John Lyons and Pat Parelli, her time is divided between being a hostess to her horse riding guests and the starting of young horses with violence free natural horsemanship, which she finds extremely fascinating and rewarding. Also, Rocha is one of the few places in the world where you can spot humpback whales right off the beach, without having to hire a boat. The quiet beach town offers hotels, hostels, and all kinds of little cafes and restaurants. And best of all: La Paloma offers a variety of beaches. It houses a massive sea lion colony just a few meters off shore and has no public road to get there, so it still feels rather remote and exposed to wind and weather. That is... in off season. In high season (January, February and March) we recommend it less, as its magic is no longer a secret and it attracts more than its fair share of visitors. A must see for “birders”, it is yet completely undeveloped touristically - there are no guided tours. In Brasilien arbeite ich in mehreren Bereichen: ich bilde Jungpferde an, begleite die Rehabilitation traumatisierter Pferde, gebe Reitunterricht für Erwachsene und Kinder und biete Beratung im Pferdebereich an. Lebensjahr hauptsächlich an Pferde. Nach vielen Jahren im österreichischen Dressur und Springsport, die mit nur sehr mässigen Erfolgen geschmückt waren, und einem Abstecher ins Universitätsleben, reiste sie mehrmals um die Welt, zuerst mit Flugzeug, Zug, Bus und Rickshaw, dann immer mehr zu Pferde. In Südamerika fand sie Länder wo es noch möglich ist sich nur zu Pferd zu bewegen und so legte sie mehr als 2000 km zu Pferd zurück. Anfangs reiste sie mit den Nomads United, einer internationalen Gruppe von pferdeverrückten Musikern und Strassenkünstlern, danach meistens alleine mit einem Pferd und einem Packpferd. Nach zwei Jahren als Reittourenführerin in Costa Rica führte das das Leben sie nach Uruguay, wo sie Ihr Traumland fand und am Fusse der Sierras de Rocha ihr Traumhaus baute .
